Results Schizophrenia andrelated disorders, other psychotic disorders, adjustment, personality, alcohol and substance-use-related disorderswere significantlyassociatedwithlow IQ scores, butthis associationremained significant for the fournon-psychotic disorders only when adjusting for comorbid diagnoses. Formostdiagnostic categories, test scores were positively associatedwiththe length ofthe interval betweentestingand first admission.ICDmooddisorders aswell as neuroses andrelated disorderswere not significantlyassociatedwithlow IQ scores.
